Fine spirits, close-up magic, and original art, all to keep Tampa Bay's coastline alive.
Thursday, July 30, 2026 • 6:00–9:00 PM • The Study, St. Petersburg
Why We Gather
This is an intimate evening at The Study, St. Petersburg's pour-your-own wine and bourbon lounge in the heart of Historic Kenwood, where community, conversation, and conservation come together. Every ticket supports local living shoreline projects that protect and restore the coastal ecosystems the Tampa Bay region depends on.
Living shorelines are natural coastal restoration efforts that strengthen habitat, improve water quality, and build resilience against storms and erosion. Keeping them healthy takes ongoing maintenance and monitoring, and that is exactly what your support helps make possible.
$10 of every ticket is tax-deductible • Seats are limited.
John Williams hosts the evening. The raffle and West Evans' live painting run the whole night and resolve at 8:30. Here is the run of show.
Arrive to a complimentary glass of champagne and close-up magic from John Williams, your host and MC for the evening. The raffle buckets and West Evans' live painting are already going, so you can buy tickets and place bids the moment you walk in.
John introduces Tom Ries, who presents the Cockroach Bay Addition Habitat Restoration project, the very landscape West is painting live tonight, and why ongoing maintenance decides whether these projects last.
Buy raffle tickets and drop them in the bucket for whatever prize you want, watch West's painting take shape, and place your bids on the sheet beside it. Mingle and enjoy The Study's wine and bourbon on a pay-as-you-go basis.
John draws the raffle winners bucket by bucket, and West's finished Cockroach Bay painting goes to the highest bidder. You must be present to win.
The formal program wraps, but you are welcome to stay, relax, and keep enjoying the evening.
West Evans paints the Cockroach Bay Addition Habitat Restoration project live throughout the evening, the same project featured in tonight's presentation. The finished original goes to the highest bidder.
Created live during the evening, this original captures the Cockroach Bay Addition Habitat Restoration, the very project that Tom Ries presents on tonight. West Evans works in the Highwaymen tradition, and the finished piece is yours to take home if you hold the top bid.
You must be present to win.
Each prize has its own bucket, with prizes valued up to $1,000. Buy tickets, drop them toward whatever you want to win, and hope yours gets pulled.

An in-person show by John Williams, who also hosts the evening.

Donated by Living Spaces Gardening.
